DiTerlizzi, Tony. Kenny & the Dragon. Simon & Schuster, ©2008.SSYRA 2010-2011
A frightening thing has happened...a dragon has taken residence on Kenny's family's property! Kenny, being a brave and well read rabbit, is up for the battle. He has been reading about dragons in the King's Beastiary. Upon finding the ferocious dragon, Kenny is dumbfounded to see he is not so ferocious at all (he is only vicious when dicussing Shakesphere). This tale is a spin of the classic tale the Reluctant Dragon. You will be thrilled to meet an all animal cast and discover how two foes, with a little help from the brave lad, work together to form a friendship battling the sterotypes of an outdated legend. (Book talk published by C.McGinn) 8/10
