Yep, getting in the back to school mode and shopping for those lovely school supplies bring a sense of rebirth to the anxious scholar. Nothing like a new pack of pencils to brighten one's day! This year at Orange City Elementary our focus is shifting gears even more into the 21st century. We are integrating tons of technology and want to include our community as well. Looking forward to hosting many technology nights and classes for parents and community members.
At Orange City Elementary we are dedicated to providing each student with the skills needed for a 21st century member of society and that does not always include pencil and paper... You may be a little surprised by that response but it truthfulness our scholars will be immersed in society filled with communication and creative tools. That's why the flash drive can be added to the list of supplies. Be sure to ask your teacher if something like this could be utilized by your scholar. The library will be hoping to sell some as well.
As we get all the back to school shopping out of the way. Enjoy the last few weeks of rest as we get ready to kick it into gear and soar back into the educational swing!
